What to Bring on a Hike in Tenerife: A Complete Guide to Enjoying Nature Safely

Tenerife is much more than beaches and good weather. The island offers some of the most spectacular natural landscapes in Europe: ravines, laurel forests, volcanoes, cliffs and unique trails that turn every excursion into an unforgettable experience.

But there is one very common mistake among visitors to the island: assuming that, because the temperatures are pleasant, any clothing will do for hiking.

1. Wear the right footwear
