Delve into Tenerife’s volcanic history by walking through the impressive Chinyero Nature Reserve. On this ‘Hiking among volcanoes’ route, we will explore the Abeque Ridge, a territory marked by the eruptions that have shaped the island.
The circular path will take us to two sleeping giants: the Trevejo Volcano, whose eruption in 1706 buried part of the town and port of Garachico, and the Chinyero Volcano, witness of the last eruption in Tenerife in 1909. During the tour, the imposing Teide will accompany us with its presence on the horizon.
With an approximate duration of four hours and no steep slopes, this experience is suitable for everyone and perfect for those who want to discover the volcanic soul of the island.

- Transport from Garachico to the starting point of the trail. And transfer to Garachico at the end of the route.
It is necessary to bring a coat, cap or hat, sports shoes and water. It is also advisable to bring a picnic or similar.
- It is necessary to wear appropriate clothing (sports shoes). If you are not properly prepared, we will not be able to allow you to participate in the activity.
- In case of bad weather conditions, we will offer the possibility to change the date of the booking or refund the amount paid.
