To accompany the drink, they offered a few homemade dishes: stewed meat, chickpeas, wrinkled potatoes or cod with onions. And just like that, one of Tenerife\u2019s most authentic traditions was born.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over time, those improvised places became a key part of Canarian culture. Today, guachinches keep their essence alive \u2014 <strong>homemade food, local wine, and a friendly<\/strong>, familiar atmosphere.
